The previous owners of the house moved out after the wife developed brain tumors and the housekeeper lost more than 60 pounds.USACE agreed to conduct air monitoring in the house in 2002, but has still not conducted the sampling.American University bought the house back from the builder in 2006 for more than $3 million, after selling the property at auction in 1996.Some fear the burial pit extends under the house and will require the house to be torn down.
