The highest perchlorate concentration, 146 ppb, was detected in the Glenbrook Road/Lot 18 area, while a much lower perchlorate level was detected in the general vicinity of the reservoir, water treatment plant and Sibley Hospital ... No one ever determined the cause of the elevated perchlorate.
